After years on “the run” in France the legendary filmmaker was finally arrested by authorities in Switzerland who were in cahoots with the U.S government to extradite the him for having sex with a 13-year old girl more than 30 years ago. Polanski settled with the girl a couple years back and she’s saying she doesn’t want to press charges. FINALLY! He drugged and raped/sodomized a little girl and everybody is acting like it is no big deal because it happened 30 years ago. WTF. She is scarred forever, while he has been chilling in France for the past 3 decades. Disgusting.

For him to settle with the kid and her family is even more of an indcation that they were all in and OBVIOUSLY ok with it.
No, the family was not OK with it. Do your research first, before you start victim blaming. They settled because the girl didn’t want to go to trial, she wanted to move on. Just because someone settles, doesn’t mean it is ok or that something didn’t happen. Being drugged is never ok. Read the court docs, the smoking gun has them. Polanski is disgusting.
