what does the cover have to do with the title of her album, i like amerie but this is cheap nd poor looking. try again the album cover that is. The music maybe good hopefully. She’s such a nice gurl nd she has talent. She just needs a huge hit nd alot of promotion. She will sell over 100k her first week tho i believe.
Honestly none of you guys gave any type of incredible source.
Amerie has two singles floating around, to get a buzz for the album.
“Why R U” was defintely a concrete single to release and very powerful single. U.S. Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs[5] 55. But its lack luster due to the appeal. Alot of people arent accepting it so easily.
Amerie teams is not promoting her well enough unfortunately. The same thing went for Letoya Luckett ” Lady Love. Awesome album of quality. Even pushed two singles/ Videos the same as AMERIE) yet her album barely sold 40,000 in its first week. “Regret” Feat Ludacris has gotten just as much airplay with “Not Anymore” so all the spins you get but after 2 other passed singles sucks for the album doing its all best.
Now to touch the album cover. Its creative, but i would want that picture as a album photograph inside the album, not the frontpage. This is whats going to sell the album and that cover is not appealing. I want to see Amerie Face. Your Face is what sometimes sells. Unless your Jay-z or Kanye West.
If Amerie wants this album to really be seen on the shelves. Please come up with another album cover.
However her two videos out now, WHY R U and Heard Em All. The videos are pretty awesome. The music video for “Heard ‘Em All” was shot in the Santa Clarita desert in California in August 2009. The video will be directed by Anthony Mandler, who has also shot videos for Beyonce, The Killers, Utada Hikaru, Fergie, Nelly Furtado, and Eminem. The video will be Mad Max-themed with a huge budget and pyrotechnics involved.
