The former fiancé of Kandi Burruss, Ashley “A.J.” Jewell was involved in some sort of fight outside popular Atlanta hot spot Body Tap when he was severely injured causing him to die late last night at the hospital. Here’s what Kandi who rose to fame as part of R&B group Xscape had to say about the incident via the new press release, her Twitter page:
I could never in a million years imagine this happening. Please pray for A.J.’s children … that’s who i’m the most concerned for. I’m about to give my swollen eyes some rest now. I just wanted to say thanks two everyone for their prayers.
Police have already arrested an employee of the club in connection with the charges.
