Marlon Wayans might be playing the late comedian Richard Pryor in his upcoming biopic. Eddie Murphy was originally slated to play the part, but the production company changed. Do you think Marlon would play a good Pryor???

I think he can handle it. Eddie Murphy’s acting and comedy are really over-rated, IMO…
Yes Marlon Wayans can act like late Richard Pryor because he has the engery he had and also I can see some features in Marlon Wayans of Richard Pryor I myself personal says” he will make an great impression of the late Richard Pryor.

this would transcend Marlon’s acting career…i’d be happy for him cause i think he’d knock it out the park…just like Jamie in Ray!

Chill, g…Mike Epps is a funny dude, but he would not have done a good ACTING job as Richard Pryor.
I never thought of Marlon for the role, but I think it’ll be a nice fit & his chance at really being taken seriously in the industry. He’d be good with the facial expressions, possibly the voice, etc. With the right production & directing behind it, this could be big like Jamie Foxx in Ray.
And don’t forget Marlon did really well in “Above the Rim” too. =)
Yeah Marlon is the best choice out of anybody because he can do something a lot of comedians try to do and that is actually act. If not too early to say he is the best Wayan brother. He kept In Living Color alive when he came on the show.
I don’t mind if Eddie or Marlon plays Richard Pryor. Both are funny and decent actors. If Eddie played Richard, he would have to spend hours everyday getting makeup put on and transforming into the character because he looks nothing like Richard. He’s used to that though.
i thought mike epps was going to play pryor too, but i believe marlon would do a wonderful job playing him though
WHAT, I cant believe everyone thinks Marlan could play RP….like seriously, this dude was NEVER that funny nor that great of an actor….he is one of the youngest wayans and the least talented one. Mike Epps, Eddie Murphy, or Eddie Griffith would BE WAAAAY BETTER CHOICES!!!!
