We missed this ABC News special from March where the channel sent African American shoppers to Unpomela boutique in Soho, NYC and used actors as the security guard and store clerk to discriminate against them in plain view of other shoppers. In the experiment they see how other shoppers react and if they step in….crazy!

Why is this so surprising to ABC…. This has been going on since blacks were freed slaves….. White people like to believe this type of racism does not exists in this day an age but black people know better.
Yeah, this is sad. BUT, it’s funny that during an “experiement” they use this pretty black woman. What the should show, REALISTICALLY, is a group of young black boys with their pants hanging out their asses, talking loud, saying “ay ay ay ay nigga nigga nigga, ay shawt, mane” ’cause… that’s the TRUTH. That’s what I hear at the mall, and those are the ones people are cautious of and secretly wish would leave their store. Mainly because, those are the ones committing crimes. AND THATS TRUE.

@dontthinkso…You must live to be divisive. Posting comments on blogs is probably orgasmic to you. It is apparent that you live in the very small world that is your minuscule brain. I know that I am probably confusing you with words that you have to look up in the dictionary. So I will be brief and “dumb it down” for you. It doesn’t matter if you come into a store in tennis shoes and baggy jeans or Chanel from head to toe- there are basic HUMAN rights that are being violated. There is no reason that anyone should be treated unfairly, when everyone is a potentially a paying customer when they walk into a store. Those “young black boys” that you mentioned may have come into the store to spend thousands of dollars, but someone ignorant like yourself would never reap the benefit of that revenue with your narrow minded views.
I look at this an affirmation of why I became a lawyer.
THERE IS NO WAY IN HELL I WOULD HAVE NOT STOOD UP FOR THAT WOMAN. THIS HAPPENS ALL TOO OFTEN AND IT PROBABLY WONT EVER STOP HAPPENING. BUT MOST OF THE TIME THE STORE CLERKS ARE NOT SO BOLD WITH THEIR INTENTIONS, BUT THEY THINK WHAT THE SALES LADY SAID OUT LOUD. SHAME ON IT ALL!
