The 5-foot-10-inch, 120-pound model at the center of the Photoshop controversy that forced the brand to release an apology is speaking out, saying not only was that not her body in the widely circulated ad, but also how the company eventually got rid of her anyway because she was too fat.

“They said I couldn’t fit in their clothes anymore…[they wrote a letter to my agent saying] We’re terminating your services because you don’t fit into the sample clothes that you need to wear,” Filippa Hamilton said on the Today Show about being fired from the brand she has modeled for since she was 15.

And on the “Dude Her Pelvis Is Bigger Than Her Head” ad controversy:

“It’s not a good example when you see this picture, every young woman is going to look at it and think that it is normal to look like that. It’s not.  I saw my face on this super-extremely skinny girl, which is not me. It makes me sad. It makes me think that Ralph Lauren wants to have this kind of image. It’s an American brand … and it’s not healthy, and it’s not right.”

If a woman being 5’10″ and 120lbs is too fat then the modeling world has gone crazy.
