“I have one problem with mixed race marriages and that is the offspring…” Keith Bardwell, a justice of the peace who denied this couple initially denied a marriage license by a guy who says he isn’t racist because “his definition of a racist is to hate black people or treat black people different from anybody else.”
“We’ve retained an attorney, and we’re in the process of taking the next steps in order to make sure that (the justice of the peace) loses his job,” Beth McKay tells CNN after the jump.
People can believe what they want..but should he keep his gig???

No! I’m the “offspring” of an interracial relationship and I turned out just fine-in fact, great! He needs to kick rocks right off his bench!

anyways, i try to not give this stuff to much attention (not that it shouldnt get legal attention).
He’s worried about the kids because he says mostly all the interracial relationships he’s seen has ended up in divorce but that’s a bunch of crap too because it seems like no marriges last these days so he needs to stop playing.
He should lose his job b/c a judge’s job is to uphold the law in spite of his personal feelings about it. Their is no law banning interracial marragies and as such, he’s simply not doing his job.

I guess this guy hasn’t heard of Barack Obama, Tiger Woods and Mariah Carey…. there’s plenty of bi-racial people who are successful. As a bi-racial person myself, this only gives me more drive to push down all the barriers that people put in front of me. This guy can go fuck himself.
