Check out this German lingerie commercial that has a surprise wrapped in it….literally. It’s making a little bit of noise on the internets today from people who can’t decide if this commercial is empowering to women or just re-enforcing Western stereotypes. Anybody offended???

I think they just wanted to be controversial, fashion loves to make ‘statements’, personally the only statement I think it makes is that they want to be… controversial. Generate a bit of talk from the media, get some publicity, etc. I mean they must have realised that traditionalist Muslims who wear the full religious clothing would not appreciate something like this.

I think it was great…..while many people will see the drama, controversy or publicity stunt. While selling lingerie, I also saw an artful video that said, “don’t judge a book by its cover”.

Sometimes we all have to look for the good in something.

I thought.. I’m sick of ppl being offended… get over it and go do something productive… I used to get offended by name calling and shyt back in school, now I’m an adult it doesn’t bother me one bit!

SExiNess is for everyone! that’s the only message that this commercial is trying to imply. No matter how you look in the outside, if you feel sexy in the inside, then you are indeed sexy. Even if you do not have a stunning beauty, if you feel sexy then beauty comes along Even if you don’t wear revealing clothes, sexy fitted clothes, if you believe that you are sexy, then you are sexy. Power of the mind and heart is perfect to keep everything under control. Let’s all be matured enough…nothing is so offensive on this video. We have to be open minded as we try to watch this kind of video. As for me this commercial is perfect! I can seldom see this kind of advertisement.
