no, he’s not the king of rap…what he is however is an opportunist…he’s capitalizing on the ‘formula’ that most give Tupac for…it’s overflooding the market w/ so much music that because SOME OF IT is good people tend to forgive the decent-bad stuff…and he’s not the only one…50 before him and Ja before 50…i’m not sayin’ they bit Pac’s style, flow, none of that – that’s a sperate convo in and of itself – what i’m sayin is they’ve followed his blueprint for using mass media as an ally – through their music as well as their attention drawing behavior – that keeps them in people’s awareness…and the moment they put out (stumble upon) a good song it in turn counters anything negative about them b/c MUSIC is so engrained in people’s moods and personalities that music THEY deem to be good casts a spell on them…people associate mostly w/ the MUSIC first – then the man/woman/both behind it…character doesn’t count the majority of the time…i’m done speakin MY gospel for now…think i’mm start my own blog…word.

btw: Wayne’s the music version of Shawn Kemp…i said it!

Mixtape King and that where it ends until I get at least three more albums out of this dude that measure up to the Carter III. And then he still want be the King he’ll just enter the conversation with Jay-Z, Biggie, Pac, Em, & Nas. He got mixtapes that are hotter than almost all his albums. For example, his new mixtape ‘No Ceiling’ is hot as fuck! But then again, all he did was take all the beats that are hot right now and just spit hard on them.

“I might send this to the mixtape Weezy!”

The Carter II is definitely his best album, but his best mixtape….Dedication 2.Certainly not the king however, far from it.

Wayne isn’t a rap star, he’s a rock star right? To be the king of rap, shouldn’t you have to be a rapper? I’m still trying to figure out what makes him so popular… I’m going to fall back on my theory that Baby has sold his soul to the devil for the success of his company… until proven otherwise.
