Finally I see that lame excuse for pop music (Britney, Pink, old Rihanna, Miley Montana Swift Gomez Lovato) that was at the top of the pop charts that made this decade in music disappointing starting to gradually fade away (I give it a few more years until they go away or their next album when they change their image and sound). More artists are getting on the futuristic sounds bandwagon and saying they are creating a “new sound”. For now the only few mainstream artists who actually do a good job at creating a sound that makes it feel like the 21st century are Kanye, Gaga (the one who your favorite artist is biting when it comes to style), Timberlake, and a few others. The next decade is the new 80’s (with less craziness).
Indie artists going mainstream for bringing that new new (KID CUDI for hip hop and Justice for Electronic) and more current mainstream artists hopping on the future sound bandwagon with the help of producers (Swizz Swizz on the beat for Chris and I Can Transform Ya using electro group Justice similar sounds and electronic hipster dj Steve Aoki’s friend Will.I.AM for B.E.P and Fergie thinking she so 3008 you so 2000 and late) and their record labels (signing MGMT, M.I.A, and other indies that got the hipsters going crazy and most kids wanting to be hipsters making it the trend of this year). Shit now is still kinda lame but at least people are finally getting an idea of how music should sound in the 21st century.
For now I don’t really see another song being release from Rihanna that can compare to the greatness of Umbrella. This song is decent and people should just enjoy this because making a monster hit single isn’t easy. I applaud Rihanna now for doing a decent job when it comes to future pop sounds.

I don’t care how much people say this girl can’t sing. I’m going to give her her props she sure is versatile , Pop, R&B. Pop Rock, Reggaeton Music. What’s next for this girl to sample and so far she has done quite well with everthing she’s tried. Name and artist in this decade that is this alternative.
