The Sawa is my second pair of MBTs. I wanted a shoe where the foot was enclosed, but the heel could be adjusted, since my heels are narrow. I had only worn sandals (Kisumu) before. I think the new MBT sizing makes it a challenge to figure out what one wears in the new models. My advice on Sawa would be to go to a higher size number if in doubt.
