If you don’t remember the home run hitting baseball star was found to be using steroids in 2003.

well that nigga is from the dominican republic and like most places its color centric the lighter the skin the better
he could be as rich as a diamond mine but if his skin tone is brown he’s been conditioned to feel less than….

ill tell u i’ve hung around a couple of dominicans and quite a few of them are color struck….and ive witnessed atleast two that i’ve hung out with who use bleaching creams..
Well, hanging out with Dominicans, and being a Dominican are 2 totally different things. Sure there’s racism in our country, specially since like 85% of us are of dark skin. Those times have passed, maybe he’s going through some mid life crisis or he’s relating himself with a lot of white people and he’s trying to fit in. But it should never go that far as to changing the pigmentation of your own skin. One thing for sure this is NO trend, just because two Dominicans are not sure of themselves that does not mean everyone does it. Go youtube up dominicans and see how proud we are of being ourselves, no matter if we’re black or white.

umm Tony wake up! Its not just 2 people that are doing it .you must not know about all the bleaching cream Miss Key is making a killing from in DR. There is a color complex issue in the Dominican Repbulic. Dark skin people are thought less than and it has been carried over to the United States.
and let me not just point the finger @ my country. Its the same thing amongst Hispanics. Dark skin Hispanics are not even counted for…Do you need a reminder? Just turn to Univision and count how many you see featured. Oh yeah and baseball season is out, so you’ll have a difficult time finding any.
