untitled

There is obviously a strong interest in the end of the world…. because 2012 raked in $65 Million in the US & Canada and $225 Million worldwide.  The film cost about $200 Million to make, so the production company is certainly happy.

This movie sucked!! I made the mistake of seeing Precious the day before going to see this. And after Precious, 2012 just seemed like some poorly scripted, poorly acted, totally unbelivable bullshit that I should’ve waited another few years and watched on network TV.

On the other hand, Precoius is one of the best movies I’ve ever seen.

It was an OK movie. Danny Glover was the president in the movie. It touch a little on the conspiracy of the government being aware of the end of the world due to climatic changes. The objective was to preserve the governments, the wealthy and historical relics (The Mona Lisa). The poor built arcs for the elite to live on and survive until it was save to live on Earth, again.

What’s ironic about this movie is when it was safe to go onto land, The Cape of Good Hope, in Africa (The Cradle of Civilization), was the place to be.
