Sarah Palin took to her facebook page to comment about the new Newsweek magazine cover photo – which she calls unfortunate:
The choice of photo for the cover of this week’s Newsweek is unfortunate. When it comes to Sarah Palin, this “news” magazine has relished focusing on the irrelevant rather than the relevant. The Runner’s World magazine one-page profile for which this photo was taken was all about health and fitness – a subject to which I am devoted and which is critically important to this nation. The out-of-context Newsweek approach is sexist and oh-so-expected by now. If anyone can learn anything from it: it shows why you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover, gender, or color of skin. The media will do anything to draw attention – even if out of context.

“And they’re afraid I might get Sarah Palin by the hair and make her wear a bathing suit and take her para-sailing.”

“The media will do anything to draw attention – even if out of context.”..She gets so much mileage out of being a perpetual victim of arbitrary meanness, while simultaneously having no self-awareness or ability to self-evaluate, and no objectively observable virtues that one would normally look for in a political leader.
When will this scattered brain dodo bird finally realize that she was just a puppet in the horrible game of politics. Her sole purpose was to be used by the McCain campaign to manipulate and attract the female Hilary Clinton voters. Luckily for us, most women in America aren’t as stupid and dilusional as she is. She was never intended to speak, lead, or do anything more than just stand by and be a pretty face. No one has or ever will take Sarah Palin seriously, including John McCain.
i feel sorry for palin.. she knows that the gov’t are evil now there all in on it good thing she got away
As much as I dislike her, it is fucked up how she was chewed up and spat out. I agree that its a good thing she got away. She aint built 4 national politics & woulda cracked at some point.
politics aside i see what shes talking about in her response to the picture choice. would news week ever use a picture like this or hillary clinton? no or barack obama in his swimming trunks? it is very unfortunate.
I like this lady for some reason.
She could get it!
I will fuck the shit out of this 45yr old MILF. I may even eat it…na, chill.
She looks like she loves to fuck, too. I wish she would lose the glasses & let the hair loose though…
i’d fuck. and i like it with the glasses on. i might want her to say some fucked up republican shit to me too while i’m drilling it.
*shrugs*
Not a Palin fan…but I’m sure Newsweek could have used a better picture than that..low class..
Dawg she can so fuckin get it! She looks like she a freak in bed! Sarah let me hit that shit!!!
I don’t feel like she gets enough credit honestly. She is a normal everyday woman with her own share of personal issues…unfaithful husband, pregnant teenage daughter, etc…Sarah Palin is highly educated, articulate and humble. Politically she may skew to the right but at the end of the day, she is just a normal woman who chose a career in politics….Whether or not you agree with her somewhat conservative beliefs, she isn’t as bad (or dumb) as the liberal media paints her to be.
/I’m an independent
//Yes, I too, would hit it
Jai Pure made a good point.
The picture is very disrespectful, but at least she does look decent in the picture. However, I think I would be more offended by the headline and the article description. That is extremely disrespectful. Not a fan of hers by any means, but I think they took that a bit too far.
Why did she agree to TAKE the picture in the first place? Did the magazine find that particular photo on-line or did she go to set, take the picture and then complain later? hello….why put yourself in that position?
I wish she were in the white house with me cause I’d be tearing that ass up on the regular.
She always walks right into these situations, and then complains when it blows up in her face. She’s just not presidential material, becuase if she were she’d be on top of these things and would always be in “protect my brand” mode. A potential national politcal candidate who identifies with the conservative republicans should’ve known to never take a picture like that, even if it wasn’t taken specifically for or by Newsweek. Get this trailor park trash outta here!
She is far from trailor trash you ill informed nit wit. Check that bitches credentials and then check your own.
You can put lipstick on a pig, but it’s still a pig….you self hating slave.
This woman is as close to trailor trash as it gets when it comes to presidential material. All of her “credentials” and booksmarts still can’t save her from her lack of elegance and common sense.
And you are the definition of elegance and common sense aren’t you?
Yes, I am.
And if I were the one who had participated in such a devastating run for national public office, am now promoting a book, and still had future national political aspirations you can bet your last penny that I’d know enough by now to have the right people in place to make sure ALL of my basic bases were covered.
Newsflash…Regardless of you having your “bases covered”, there will be haters out there doing their best to bring you down. That’s just the cost of being in the public eye and representing a platform that others simply don’t agree with.
While I am no supporter of Palin, McCain or Obama…I don’t think Sarah has anything to worry about. She will be just fine.
The same people who the Washington Post, own Newsweek an equal opportunity magazine. Why not have equal opportuniy front page photos?
It’s obvious Palin didn’t/doesn’t have the media sycophants to gloss over her flaws and mistakes.
