The way I see it, a lot of these unsuccesful artist are that way because they are in it for the wrong reasons. Most of these guys are uneducated, know nothing about the industry that they are part of, don’t read, and therefore are not true “artists”. So, when their belly is hungry, pockets broke, they try to utilize their gift, but have absolutely nothing to rap about. So, they are left with few choices: beef with another rapper, or bragging about themselves/money. Most rap fans are tired of that, so these cats stay hungry.

If you love and respect the craft, it would reward you if you have the talent and luck.
