Show some love young-ins legendary rock group Bon Jovi is slated to top the Soundscan chart this week with 166,000 copies of their new The Circle album sold in the first week on shelves. In other sales news despite heavy promotion newcomer Wale‘s debut Attention Deficit lands at number 27 on the chart in his first week, moving about 30,000 copies.
So…now that all of the new guys have released a CD [kinda, Drake only dropped a EP]….Who won [for now] ???

People were mad when Nas said hip hop was dead, but was he lying? Wale, Kid Cudi & Drake are truly nobodies and nothing special.

Hiphop isn’t dead yet, it’s just stuck. I don’t think Drake, Cudie, Wale, or Lupe have what it takes to usher hiphop into its next phase. So I won’t put that expectation on any of them. None of us will see the next big thing in hiphop coming until its actually her…and unfortunately for Drake & Cudi, it can’t be manufactured.
