Wooooow. We did have that hot Who Says record first but we did not expect John to beat one of the sales titans of the recording industry 50 Cent. You know this stuff can be be calculated way out…and it looks like LIFER “Big Willy” was right! Mayer’s Battle Studies will sell in the neighborhood of 275,000 – 300,000 units while 50 Cent will battle it out with Norah Jones for the second spot in the 150,000 – 160,000 album range.
This could get very interesting because back in April 50′s rhyming nemesis for this album Rick Ross sold 158,000 copies of his Deeper Than Rap…listen to how 50 Cent reacted after the jump.

This is no news to anyone who has heard the album. The album is terrible; however, I thought Fif’s stans would support the album no matter what. Fif spent way too much time talking about Jigga in his interviews when he should have been promoting this garbage…now he is somewhere literally self destructing! He’s a good businessman though so he will survive this!

…and its quite funny how Empire State of Mind has been number1 on 106 and park till 50cent showed up and paid to get his video at number one so he could perform that GARBAGE (which wasn’t even in the top 5 btw)…
if youre not jay-z you are not surviving past 4-5 albums (if youre lucky) without reinventing yourself. including kanye, he self destructed himself but, i think ye is right now working on a monster in order to take back is rightful place in music, which to me is the goat.
i hope after this flop 50 gets the message that he’s wack and fades into the background. go write another book or movie, burn down another house… do something other than pollute my ears with trash.
i’m def not a fifty stan, the album is terrible as a whole, but you just gotta give the man some credit crimewave or so disrespectful go hard and we get to hear a sick ass flow from eminem on psycho, i wouldn’t hate on him as much as some of y’all do even though all those ladies cut are annoying as fuck.
