In contrast, I would LOVE to see a reporter go into the housing projects of the US and interview some of the residents that voted for Obama and ask them questions about his policies….I’m pretty sure the incidence of “I don’t have a fucking clue what you are talking about” would be much higher in the projects than at this book signing.
It’s a two way street.
So the question is; how many black voters that “feel a real connection” to Obama have any fucking clue about politics?
I can be generous and estimate it at 30% but it’s probably much lower than that.
I think it’s horrible how Palin was used to manipulate and bamboozle the American public. What’s even more horrible is how much it really worked. These people have no clue that this woman was never intended to be taken seriously. She was just a pretty puppet.

I agree that if the reporter went to the hood the responses would be horrendous. And while a lot of people may have voted for Obama because he is Black, many also voted for him simply because he was not McCain. And about the rise in unemployment, the problems did not start with Obabma. This is all results from things that happened way before he got in office, before he even decided to run. It is easy to point the finger at the person in charge now and say he needs to fix things ASAP, but Bush got away with murder and destroyed this country over an 8 year period. How is it reasonable to expect ANYONE to fix it in less than a year?
