LIVE From The Fortune List It’s Steve Stoute!

by admin on 11/23/2009 · 20 comments

Check out part one of Javid’s highly anticipated interview with entertainment/advertising mogul Steve Stoute from the private roof deck of his New York City office. In this installment Steve talks making Fortune magazine’s “40 under 40” list this year, partnering with his friend Jay-Z to help run his Translation Advertising last year, why he Mary J. Blige and Gucci teamed up to help women with their FFAWN organization and finishes that interesting story about how it was initially Jay-Z’s idea to extend an invite to 50 Cent for his own Reebok sneaker.

Part two where Steve talks why he doesn’t necessarily want people to compare Nas & Jay-Z, how hip hop beef is like a “pimple on an elephant” and who he sees at the next moguls in the entertainment industry coming sooner than you think.

What does it profit a man to gain the world and lose his soul? Stop worshipping these fraternal losers. Steve won’t tell you what he really had to do to become successful. I’m sure you’ll pass this off as hate but all I can say is time will tell. The truth will be revealed about all these industry devil worshippers. All that glitters is not gold…

Wow dude… yeah that does sound like hate. Being a business person does not make you evil or a devil worshiper.

Listen, instead of making all business people, the music industry, and making money/profit evil, why not learn from their successes AND mistakes and try to actually DO IT BETTER THAN THEY DID.

All this negativity… for what? You control you so why don’t you put your money where your mouth is and do it! Change the industry! Be profitable AND responsible.

Yes time will tell if you are right; we do agree on that point.

Whats this devil worshiping stuff all the time. If the black man makes his own way and gets rich he haas to be evil? He’s doing good for his community. What are you doing?

what is he doing good for the community? he’s making money for himself and his close network of associates. who do you think provided him access to racist corporate america? he’s in this position to give you false hope. there is only a handful of chosen blacks that will become successful in business and they all have to take an oath of secrecy (among other things). obviously you cant see past the lip service of these industry politicians. i love black people but understand that there’s more to life than what we see on tv. look up the Boule and the research that Brother Steve Cokely did on this black fraternal order. this will scratch the surface but you’ll start to see that your heros don’t have any love for the community.

You seem to know allot about what they do and don’t do… why don’t YOU write up a blog post on your blog and explain your reasoning.

After you finish blaming everyone else, I think you will find just what i found; you control YOU and your life. Do the best YOU can over what YOU have control over. you can’t point the finger at everyone else for the worlds ills all the time. How are YOU helping?

I will tell you something right now, if… no, when I make it, you won’t even KNOW I am giving back to the community most of the time because my name won’t be shown. So how would you know I give back if I don’t shout it out to the world that I am doing it?

Mr. BGAS, with all due respect I have nothing against people making money. I simply have a deeper understanding of the real world and what it demands from those that “make it”. I cant help the fact that you’re naive and challenge you to do your own research. Start with a the black fraternal order called the Boule which was patterned after Yale’s Skull and Bones. What you’ll learn is that white supremacist hand pick certain blacks to become successful in business, politics, religion etc. I’m not impressed by Steve Stoute and people like him because they sell out the black community to line their own pockets. They wont tell you what the New World Order has in store for the common man but keep you distracted with movies, music and sneaker deals. If you cant see past the money what I’m saying will go over your head.

I dont see how teaching Burger King to market junk food to the urban community is beneficial. I see a rise in diabetes, attention deficit disorders, abnormal harmone growth bought on by poor diets. Did his marketing plan have a bullet point for the health issues associated with fast food? Please research the effect that soda has on the human body. I dont blame Steve for starting the problem but would you call him a contributor? Assisting multi-national corporations that destabilize the American economy by producing products in third world nations is something to aspire to? Nike, Reebok etc is not your friend and they wont take your call but they will hand pick a “Lil Stevie” who will blindly influence you to buy their products. After you make them rich and the economy crashes we’ll see how much you value the “contributions” of a Steve Stoute. Dont choke on the cigar smoke and inhale some truth.
