How in the world did Donny Osmond beat Mya?!!! C’mon Son!!!
Mya got robbed but then again I wasn’t surprised. To me she’s the winner. Only in America!!! The old Osmond Brothers fans kept Donny alive. What a shame.

Mya was the better dancer, but Donny Osmond is a force. No way in hell does Mya have anywhere near as many fans as Donny. And that’s where the win came in from the votes.
Donny had more fans that voted, plain and simple.
Donny has been in the industry for a very long time and has accrued a number of fans over the years. I also feel that Mya’s personality was a bit less inviting compared to Donny’s. So between previous fans and more inviting personality Donny won. Though Mya was of course the better dancer. And people don’t just vote on skills, they also vote on who they like the most. Which one would they like to invite to their home and have a family dinner with. And that would be Donny Osmond.

It really is a shame that popularity is the determining factor in a dance contest. The fair thing would be to let the judges decide once the slate is wiped clean for the finals. No way Donnie should have won with his stiff self. It took him the whole season to figure out how to use his body. Race has absolutely nothing to do with it. Mya was robbed and that’s a fact. If the winner is going to be determined by the number of fans or people who want to have a particular star over for dinner then maybe they should call the show “Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner”. They just need to call it what it is – not Dancing with the Stars but maybe Who’s your Favorite Star?
