I enjoyed the Bad Romance performance, and thought the interview was terrific. I wasn’t expecting as much from Speechless, being at the end of the show. It brought tears to my eyes. Ellen seemed to appreciate it too, giving Lady Gaga two hugs. I played hooky from work to watch the program; glad I did.
I love her more and more every time I see her. This is actually one of the best songs on her album, and there are many great records on it. Nice to see her break it down and do something with less tempo. She is remarkably talented. It’s early to make comparisons but when you think of some of the legends who also played but had amazing showmanship, like Prince, Stevie, Hendrix and Elton, she is proving that she has the stuff to be legendary. Songwriting, check! Vocals, check! Creativity, check! Hits, check! Crazy rock star persona, CHECK! I never write or leave comments, but I feel strongly about her. I was at the AMA’s and people were shocked at how talented she was. Crazy yes, but DAMN TALENTED.

She says that she wrote this song just to say thanks to her dad for getting her out of the hell of drugs.
