Well looks like the divorce is settled… Nas has been ordered to pay Kelis $40,000 in spousal support and $10,000 a month in child support ending their divorce proceedings. Nas also asked the judge for overnight visits with his newborn son as part of the agreeement. That sounds like a lot of money to pay per month….. RIGHT?

i know the child support part (which worked in has favor vs others…) is only 18mths but what about the spousal support?

just plain ridiculous…lol @ the fact that the court doesn’t even CARE that Kelis just signed a record deal, said that she was releasing 2 albums this year & is still pulling in royalty checks…they only care about what Nas has…lol…he has to maintain her lifestyle even though she is divorcing him…and not to mention she is in the SAME industry as him…is it his fault that she is less successful??? HELL NO…shows what the marriage was all about to her…she’s happy as hell…she still has what she wanted from the marriage…$$$…while he is paying out the ass & having to beg a judge to let his child spend the night…this is really pitiful but it is the way the justice system is set up in America.
