to be honest chris brown is not much of a singer, he’s average at best. I would say that it’s his dancing and catching songs that wows people over. Plus he appealed to many of the kiddies, so when dealing with that base u have to be very cautious n what u do. His pr teams needs to be fired. However, he is human and we all make mistakes. He deserves a second chance. It is alot to deal with when u feel u’ve apologized so much and it’s like people are like ef u still. Sometimes people just want reasons to be bitter. Chris keep ur head up. To me he released the album to soon, that coupled with Rihanna doing all these interviews rehashing stuff certainly did’nt help him, then he always went behind her with a statement. Folks probably dont take his apology seriously bcuz it comes off as just an apology to save his career. I wish Chris success and hopes that he succeeds. Rihanna did all that and her numbers are still pretty lousy, guess what she turned of her fanbase the kiddies also, this era for her is to drastic and dark for them. Actually rihanna did better than her last album’s first week sales. She sold about 30,000 more so that is an improvement.
Rihanna’s first week sales are never great but she comes out with single after single so her album stays on the charts and she sells more than people who had great debuts.

my point was it really doesnt matter why her albums sold. whatever works they should try it. the fact is artists arent selling like they use to. take for example when chris brown released his last album he sold 295k and was number 4 on the billboard list. this time around hes slated to sell 95-100k and he’ll be number 4 on the list. that shows a substantial decrease in album sales period. so to judge an artist on how they get their albums out the record store is just silly to me.
For those of you who don’t know this but any ablum that sell for less the $6.00 US do no get factoured inthe sales count .Go on bill board charts and you would read how they do their sales count.

tiger woods is right behind you cheering you on. the thing is when you are portrayed in a certain light you gain fans based on that premiss. a persons personality is what makes them successful bc ppl choose to support the person. once that light has been changed it may take time to rebuild your fan base but in regards to brown he had to give ppl time. its unfair maybe but he came back to soon. i doubt anyone lives their lives boiling inside thinking about chris brown but rather they arent motivated to go buy his album anymore.

People in general should be more forgiving. However, that is a personal choice and its virtually impossible for someone to dictate to someone else how much time it should take them to forgive. With that said, Chris’ entire staff needs to be fired. My guess is that they’re worried about their own jobs so they’re rushing him back into the limelight and the public clearly isn’t ready for his return. He’s actually turning more people off by playing the victim and acting as if he’s owed forgiveness. His loyal fans have gassed him with their pledges of allegiance and the people around him are not helping him to see the real truth of the entire situation.

I am not condoning what Chris did in any way. He went way too far, but it is funny how people who bad mouth him conveniently overlook how Rhianna confessed to beating him up on several occassions before he touched her. So it is okay for girls to abuse boys and not suffer any consequences? She should be boycotted and blacklisted the same way he is. Jay Z and how many other rappers used to sell drugs, how many families did they destroy while making thier money? But that doesn’t count right? Bottom line Chris has an excuse for not selling. All this Rihanna stuff has taking alot of his career period. And to say it has’nt would be a lie. Rihanna on the other hand had all the sympathetic people behind her, yeah she made a lil improvement in sales but come on everyone knows that with all the promo and hype behind her she should have moved about 350 to 400k. Her sales were lackluster. This is why i kinda believe that she is alotta hype. I mean come on now she released GGGB then she rereleases it with more smash singles and all she sales is 2.5 mil.
