Some of the new measures that the FAA and government want to impose include- for the last hour of the flight no bathroom breaks, no items in your lap and no access to carry on luggage as well as no use of in flight entertainment.

Harsh, obviously none of these tactics are working if a guy can get on the plane. All i know is if i had shares in the airline industry, sell em!

Anyways, i would say hell yes to all of those restrictions if ticket prices dropped. Like really dropped.

just dont let ANY fluids, idk, carry-on only in see-through bags, and let ppl watch damn movies on the plane.

so whats the logic here that someone blows up a plane only at the last hour of the flight?? so what if someone attempts to blow it up at the middle portion when you can do whatever…?? then there’s going to be a rule that you cant do anything while the flight is in the air???
lol.how about they do a thorough search before ppl get on their plane to start with…start with a mandatory full body scan and then proceed
but no they only institute ridiculous policies after someone shows a weakness or completes an attack using a new method..

“It’s a mess. It’s a nightmare.” These regulations are irrelevant to what happened over the weekend. The underpants bomber shouldn’t have made it through getting his ticket. His family informed multiple authority sources in multiple countries that he had lost it. He was on a watch list, paid cash for a one way ticket, and published radical shit all over the internet. How about some synergy from the intelligence agencies? Maybe try following up on leads and having an over precautionary ‘no fly’ list. How about profiling people that are suspicious before they step foot in a terminal? It seems a bit too easy to me – it’s not like regular people are trying to blow up planes. But then again there are home grown terrorists like Timothy McVey so I am for the full body scans, most people dont have anything to hide. The Nigerian man who did this now has a deformed penis to remind him that he didnt succeed in his mission of death which “they” love so much.
