Her rolls definitely make her plus sized. I see why they don’t put “plus sized” models up. To me she looks like she needs to work out a bit and lose some of the belly weight. To me it is one thing to be sort of big, but to actually expose and be proud of yoru fat is not cool to me. It just says its okay to eat a lot and be fat. I’m not advocating for rail thin models either. I’m advocating for models that look like they eat and workout not like they throw up after every meal. She is still a beautiful girl, but I think what should be portrayed are fit and healthy girls no matter what. Then maybe if that was the norm people would actually start working out.

Fat is Fat!!! No matter how you sexify it by calling it Plus Sized… She’s pretty… pretty fat, it’s unhealthy, putting her at risk for heart disease, diabetes, and so many other bodily failures, she’s not a role model. There’s a reason models are thin and pretty. cover this Lane Bryant bitch up!!!

The one thing I will never understand is when they mention plus size, they always seem to show the more large women. There ARE women who are plus size and don’t have rolls of fat or anything that would look like obvious fat (or maybe just a little, but not to the extent of this picture)

Nevertheless, I hope they keep up the trend. Big women need love too (and they sure do know how to give love too)

yes, i was thinking the same thing, when they use plus size women with lots of body fat and roles they’re just hindering the cause, lots of people will just look at this and think it’s a joke.

this just looks wrong. and it is wrong. its promoting obeisity which is unhealthy. yes, it is also wrong to show unhealthy skinny models, but at least it looks good.
stupid idea imo

This is an unflattering pose….being plus sized, I would not do this kinda pose. She’s smaller than me, and this picture makes her look bigger than she is. And for all of you that are so insecure that you need to knock her and not the picture, she is the norm in this country. We should celebrate her self confidence. And who’s to say that she doesn’t workout or is not healthy? everyone is made different.

Oh and OJ, you should learn how to spell “obesity” before you comment on it.

i’d just like to point out that while you’re saying that using plus-sized models is sending out the “wrong message” and promoting obesity, it’s no better to clog the media with images of half-starved women and, arguably, promoting eating disorders.
