According to research findings out of all the months January is time of the year where most couples file for divorce. Experts speculate that the rise in divorces in January is due to either couples holding out to not spoil the holidays or holiday bills spoiling an already sour relationship.
In other divorce news one of our favorite actors Dennis Hopper who is said to be “terminally ill” with prostate cancer filed for divorce from his wife yesterday [Tuesday] from his hospital bed. “I wish Victoria the best, but [I] only want to spend these difficult days surrounded by my children and close friends…” read a statement from Dennis who’s said to be trying to keep his wife of 14 years Victoria Duffy that he has a daughter with from getting a penny of his money. His first wife Brooke is currently at the hospital with him.
