I miss why I loved him and I am scared of the evolution of him that we are seeing.

Judging by all the negative feedback from the VMA incident things will hopefully be different and he will be more calm but for now who else other than a few artists in the industry are being themselves? People are saying artists like Gaga and Kanye want attention but fuck that. If people chose to follow the work or personal life of these individuals than that’s them. Many people in this country are hearing bullshit on the radio and Gaga and Kanye (indie artists too but when they have that hit single) are probably one of the last few people to ever be on the billboard chart who can prove creativity is still alive. The best rappers (not most them dudes always on Billboard top 100 but Mos, Talib, Common, Rae, Jay) had his back when the country didn’t. I say fuck what America thinks. First of all I never heard of him drawing a penis on a kids paper asking for an autograph. I’m gonna need to see proof of that. Second, Kanye is not a mogul or trying to be a mogul. He is an artist. There is a big difference. Obv he wouldn’t do a lot of the things he is doing if he was trying to be a mogul. Third, Kanye has always acted like this. Listen to his first album, he talks about being an “asshole” and a “show off”. Even Talib Kweli said that Kanye had always acted a fool while trying to be creative. Maybe you just didn’t realize who Kanye was to begin with. I think Kanye as a lyricist and MC continues to improve.
