We are happy to report that Friday’s global Hope For Haiti Now telathon spearheaded by George Clooney raised a whopping $58 Million dollars (a new record for telathon fundraisers) to date. That figure only includes contributions made by mobile, phone and online – with corporate donations not counted as yet. Watch performances from some of your favorite music artists at the event HERE.

Great! Awesome that all this effort brought a good amount of money for a good cause. And the whole thing, with all those performances and stuff, was one of the most beautiful things i’ve seen in tv lately. Amazing.
