“About that meeting…yeah, I’m gonna stay at the beach for a while…”
Talk about great publicity stunts! A Seattle company called Social Strata which “facilitates social networking for individuals and businesses” introduced a new policy this week that will allow any of their employees to take as many vacation days as possible – there is no limit, you must take at least two weeks.
“I think they thought they were being punked. We have grownups in this office. Why not give them the opportunity to schedule their lives the way they need to?” says CEO Rosemary O’Neil.
Of course the company has no openings.
