Check out new Nike basketball ads featuring Kobe and LeBron for their Prepare For Combat campaign.  Do you feel like the “I’ll Do Whatever It Takes To Win Games.  I Don’t Leave Anything In The Chamber” phrase has a negative connotation?

This is the biggest non story I’ve ever heard in my life. It’s almost like it’s from The Onion or something. Next thing they’ll be saying the announcers can’t say “shoot the ball”.

i agree with BE this is ridiculous. the NBA has taken their totalitarian stance way too far.

First of all, its made by Nike, not the NBA. Saying its the NBA makes you look dumb because EVERYWHERE you look it says Nike and never once has the NBA even made the slightest comment about either picture. secondly, the “prepare for combat” idea came from the new Nike Pro line have camo designs. Finally, this isn’t news at all. There isn’t even a short article here, just a picture and a caption. So to say its the biggest none news story is stating the obvious. PLEASE! if your going to attack someone make sure you did your research first, otherwise you look like an idiot with nothing better to do then hate on a basketball player whos a million times more successful then you will ever be. have a nice day.
