Very nice track! & it wasn’t over the top with the production drowning out the lyrics & DJ Khaled screaming all over it; “WE THE BEST!!!” So, for those facts & for the excellent performances by Nas & John Legend, this track receives my seal of approval.

You’re correct, this wasn’t Nas’s best. But, it wasn’t his worst either. (“You Owe Me” holds that title) I’m just glad to hear him on something new. He’s still one of NYC’s illest to ever do it & a legend in the rap game, imo.
I think he just let us know how he felt about the court and the news about his money, he said it here and now.

Why do people always have to say “It was not his best”…so the fuck what if it wasn’t his best …the lyrics are ILL…what artist spits their best on every fucking song? These lyrics that Nas spits are dope and niggas always try to over analyze his lyrics…contrast and compare his shit to every song his has done in the past! The haters and so called fans are so fucking critical of Nas…as if he has to fucking say something earth shattering every fucking song…but yet they praise mediocre lyrics by artist who could not fuck with Nas’ lyrics on this song compared to their best song! Damn, some people are so sensitive. I never said that Nas was wack. Calm down & readjust your undies. Nas is far from being wack. I simply think that this wasn’t his best… which is my opinion. Similar to how you have your own & you’re entitled to that. I listened to the track, several times over & as I stated in one of my earlier posts, I think that he displayed an excellent performance. He’s a lyrical genius on the mic, no doubt. I just think that he’s capable of better. But, I’m definitely not mad at this, at all.
