I used to co-sign this chick but she doesn’t even write most of her own lyrics, has stylist dress her up, and she sometimes dresses on her own based on what the stylist and designers showed her. What’s next? People instantly call a lot of stars fashion icons when what they are doing has been done already. Not hating just a bit annoyed. Probably only Kanye and Gaga are at that level of becoming the next icons.

Alot or even most artist don’t write their own shit, if they did then song writers would be out of a job.Stylist have to work as well, so does Designers.If every aritist made and wore there own shit there would not be such a thing call the fashion Industry. Kanye went to fashion/ designing school and had a stylist at one point, to which he probably still does use behind the Scenes, Gaga has a creative Director who helps her create her own image image,and who by the way she is now fucking.Your point is baseless. As far as fashion…Rihanna has admitted that Grace Jones is her inspiration for a lot of what she wears…so don’t get it twisted..Ri mos def gives credit where credit is due. Most artists are like models, they’re hired by the record company to fulfill a vision that the record company has….they sign a contract and do what they are they are told to do. The stylist, producers, & song writers are all hired by the record company. Very few artists with major label deals are allowed full creative control of their careers.

rihanna did help write and shape the artistic direction of Rated R! Check the credits before you run your mouth. She’s ONE of the writers but the point is, she IS lending her hand in her image which refutes the claims that she is some kind of puppet. L.A.
