Naw that’s not true. I am from the Caribbean and my family is like half white and i never thought anything negative about white people UNTIL i came to the states. I’m sure that it’s occurred to you that many minorities, not only blacks, but people of other ethnicities, including women, also receive grants & financial aide. It’s not specifically a designated black distribution system. Being black isn’t the sole qualification for that type of assistance. & even in cases where black people are eligible to receive it, your performance has to meet the institutions requirements to keep them. It isn’t a free pass or a hand out. It has to be earned & rightfully so. You make it seem like it’s some sort of exclusive welfare program that us, shifty non-tipping Negroes abuse.
I can’t speak on behalf of the individuals that you’ve dealt with in the past, because I don’t personally know them. But, you’ve said that it’s the majority of black people that you’ve served that doesn’t leave tips. Really? You know the majority of this nation’s black population? Or is it just a random few that you’ve dealt with who didn’t have a pleasant attitude or experience when dealing with you that have given you this perspective?
Contrary to the media driven propaganda that’s been circulating for years, we’re not all uneducated, uncouth, non-tipping ingrates. Truthfully, with even still some remaining cultural differences between the races, the great divide has shrunk significantly, especially within the past 10 years. Not entirely, but, trust me, we’ve made leaps and bounds from when MLK gave his famous speech on the steps of the Lincoln Monument, some 40 years ago.
Which brings me to my final point, you shouldn’t judge people solely based on the color of their skin. Being black doesn’t mean that you’re genetically predisposed to not tip. Like Roosevelt said earlier, this is a class issue, not a race issue.

What happened to the Jews was absolutely horrific! But there is a GREAT difference between hundreds of years of physical & psycological oppression/slavery and a few decades of genocide.
The Jews were horribly exterminated in mass numbers but not only were blacks exterminated we were also stripped of our identies and basic human rights, manipulated into blaming & hating eachother (light skin -vs- dark skin) and made to believe that we were less than human for over 100′s of years.
After the holocaust the Nazi’s were brought to their knees in a World War that many Black American soldiers fought and died in. The Jews were given the luxury of being able to return to their original history, recieve massive reparations & millions of dollars for their suffering, and rebuild their culture and pride. Blacks didn’t have that. No one was ever really fully held accountable or punished for the trans Atlantic slave trade. When slavery ended Blacks were only promised 40 acres and a mule that most of us ever recieved. We were tossed into a new orld where we were utterly despised, hated, and stil mistreated. We weren’t give any money, education, or infrastructure and were told to go figure it out.
We had no choice but to coexist, compete with, and depend on our captors for our survival. We were now apart of their society following their rules, and being forced to live up to their standards.
It’s only been about 40 years or so since we were legally granted our full civil rights. So yes, we have issues!!! The psychological affects of these circumstances may last for many more years. However, we still are survivors!!! I wonder how civil and advanced the Jews or any other group of people would be under the same set of circumstances.
