Wardrobe totally aside, Ushers performance was wack in my opinion. Not as bad as his last BET performance (where he was winded, and danced very measuredly) — but this joint was just off (sound-wise, choreography-wise and the lack of synergy of all the elements from beginning to end). He seems too paced and uninspired nowadays with his live performance. Contrived. Dude’s still young, but Chris Brown has more of an awe factor with his dance routines. Being a performer is more about making people feel the energy, not just about the performer appearing to be energized. C- at best. Just my opinion.

Absolutely. I could care less about the outfit if there was a “performance”. This was a lackluster performance. Based on this I wouldn’t buy tix to his concert. And I’m almost positive I saw an old TLC dance move in there. SMH
