The just released coroners report says the legendary designer passed from asphyxia and hanging in his closet on the day before his mother was to be buried and did leave a note at the scene. In other news McQueen’s friend photographer David LaChapelle has come forward to address Karl Lagerfeld’s controversial comments about the death:
“Who the fuck was he to say that? Alexander had blood running through his veins. He was not Karl Lagerfeld. He was a real human being who hadn’t lost himself completely in this world of appearances and complete and utter superficiality and business…I think suicide was a visitor who’d come many times and he was waiting to let them in because he didn’t want to punish his mom while she was alive.”

Karl’s comments were distasteful. I’m glad that LaChapelle had the balls to publically say it. Everyone else just latched on to the statement because it came from Karl. Ugghh..lol..the wannabes will agree with anything just to be considered trendy.
