Audemars Piguet’s Millenary Carbon One Watch Is Serious!

by admin on 02/18/2010 · 1 comment

Audemars Piguet makes a huge statement with their new Millenary Carbon One timepiece.  Only 120 of these bad boys will be produced with a retail price of $268,101. Robb Report explains the characteristics of the watch in greater detail.

Millenary Carbon One not only looks high-tech, it utilizes high-tech materials, such as a special isotropic carbon composed of nano fibers that are injected under extreme pressure and heat to achieve unprecedented stability for the main plate. Meanwhile, the ultralight and robust case is formed by the brand’s proprietary forged carbon. The hand-wound Calibre 2884 combines a tourbillon with a column-wheel chronograph and twin barrels.

I used to have this watch and it’s a lovely piece but once i bet my friend Domino’s couldn’t make it in in 30 minutes and I lost, so I gave it to him.
