As people get more and more excited about sharing themselves with the world we’ll only see more of this.  A controversial new site called Chatroulette allows you to talk to random strangers and fulfill your need to be loved, vent or whatever else you crazies are into.  What people are loving so much about the site is the randomness of it all, unlike Twitter, Facebook or other sites that link you by similar interests or affiliations on this site you never know what you’re going to get – a good conversation or some naked guy jerking off.  Here’s what CNN had to say about after visiting the site many are calling the second hottest thing on the web to the.LIFE Files:

The people you meet could be friendly. During a recent CNN test of the site, a man from France popped up on the screen wearing a jester’s hat and telling jokes in French. Two men dressed as skeletons were having a dance party to techno music and flashing lights. A slouched-over man in Tunisia said he was tired because he’d been on the site for four hours.

But the stranger Chatroulette sends you could just as easily be naked — or even masturbating in front of the camera, which is the case rather frequently.

Two of the first four video chatters randomly selected for CNN by Chatroulette were naked when their pictures appeared. The fifth person simply held a sign up to the screen that read: “Please show me your boobs.”

It remains to be seen if the site will explode since some of the content can be explicit and the age is regulated to 16 but only loosely, but with up to 30,000 people on the site at a time it’s clearly addictive.  Did we mention the owner was a 17-year old Russian teenager from Moscow named Andrey Ternovskiy who has never even been to the U.S. and “started it for fun”?
