In a new interview Trey Songz lets on that his favorite Jay-Z song is “Lucky Me” from Jigga’s In My Lifetime, Vol. 1 album. He says:
“I’m a Jay-Z fan, front to back, since the first album. ‘Lucky Me’ is a very, very dope song ’cause in the lyrics, it says, ‘You only know what you see/ You don’t understand what it takes to be me.’ Before I had fame and fortune, I used to listen to that song and I’d feel his pain. He’d talk about the great part of success and this was before The Blueprint 2: The Gift & the Curse, and a lot of those things have come to realization. I still love that song to death.”

Wow! That’s a tough one … I can’t pin it down to one, so I’ll give you three … Coming of Age, Allure & Dead Presidents … The messages in all three of these songs are moving and inspiring! Without doubt, the best that ever did it … It’s unequivocal as far as I’m concerned.
