In a new cover story for Esquire Magazine Tina Fey talks about not being “Hollywood”:
On not being a party girl:
“I benefit from a lack of curiosity in a lot of areas. I’m like ‘Nah, I’m good.’ I don’t need to make out with ten people. I get it. I don’t need to smoke that. I get it.”
On fame:
“I think my level of fame will drop back down. I think it’ll recede. In fact, I know it will. That’s life on planet earth. And I’m okay with that. Besides getting tables at restaurants and special treatment at the airport, what else is there?”
On the photo shoot:
“I got an e-mail [from Esquire] with a list of the potential setups, and my e-mail back was like, Well, I need to decline being handcuffed to a bed. I won’t straddle anyone. I won’t make out with a cop. There are certain things, I totally get them as a premise. And they’re all good fun, and if I were a young single model, they would be appropriate, but, you know, I’m a mom. And my kid’s going to find this someday. I don’t want to be handcuffed to a bed in Esquire.”

milf.
Good interview…I like her more now.
^^ I agree. She is a real woman and I would say that her “lack of curiosity in certain areas”, are most definitely beneficial.
Some famous people live for the fame, then complain when it gets to heavy. At least she is real about her role in the world. I wish more people would see, that their job in the media, is exactly that, a job, not a lifestyle.
Well she’s not some young 20 something model. She’s a middle aged grown ass woman and comedienne. These questions are stupid, why would you ask her about being a party girl or do a photo set up w/her cuffed to a bed? She’s grown lol.
Thank you
