According to Variety – both A&E and Discovery were bidding to get the rights to Sarah Palin’s new reality show tentatively titled “Sarah Palin’s Alaska,” but now that A&E has dropped out it looks like Discovery will be the victor. The show will feature characters, traditions and attractions in Alaska with Palin as the shows guide. Reports are saying that she could be paid up to $1 Million dollars per episode.

Pandering to people who regard Palin as a heroine is the kiss of death for any TV channel.
Why would the Discovery Channel, who has always had such high standards, want to pay this ridiculous fee to such a dishonest opportunist? I don’t get it and I will not be watching much on the Discovery Channel if they follow through with this waste of air time.
