You know, I just sat here and listen to this fear mongering parasite on the Today show. These people are seriously condoning the violent behavior of these homegrown, tea bagging terrorist. People are receiving death threats and he’s not telling his people to stand down; I feel they want someone to get shot or truly hurt so they’ll feel vindicated for the Dems giving the nation health care. These pro-life automatons are threatening death…really? Sounds a bit oxymoronic… And although he “claims” not to support the violent threats, he ends it by saying that the American people are “mad” and feel “left out” of everything that’s going on in Washington… kind of how I felt about the last administration! This is bullshit…Next time I see John McCain I’ll give him a high five for all his good work (that’s a joke)…

Sorry to burst your bubble, but my father has been (and still is) married to my mother and they still live together. Five children, no scandals, no random nigglets running around. We’re all very intelligent, sorry can’t say the same for you. I bet you thought you did a good job with that one too… thanks for confirming my first statement.

Zookeeper, it’s easy to criticize ones point of few, but where’s yours? What are your thoughts on the healthcare reform? Enlighten us, please.

simone 03/25/2010 at 1:31 PM

Zookeeper, the only bubble you’re busting is your own honey…. and to be so “intelligent,” you took the time out of your “intelligent” life to answer me!!! ha-ha-ha….. BTW- just got my master’s and am now a candidate for my Ph.D beeaattch…. (NYU stand up) but sometimes I must keep it gully for people such as yourself.

zookeeper 03/25/2010 at 5:28 PM

I took the time out of my life to answer you? Yea I guess so.. proving that you’re an idiot was worth it though. Enjoy your Ph.D in cooking dinner and deep-throating, b/c there’s no way you’re intelligent enough or have the character to do anything else. Your posts say it all. Good evening, LOL.

simone 03/25/2010 at 5:43 PM

By now everyone should know that McCain really isn’t a credible person who’s for “the people”. He’s a dirty politician who manipulates and deceives for his own personal gain. His decision to choose Sarah Palin as his VP running mate should be all the proof we need. It’s in Americas best interest to ALWAYS disregard anything that comes out of his mouth.

Now…about this healthcare bill: People are more angry and enraged over the fact that under this bill, healthcare is mandatory for everyone and not optional for anyone. And a shitload of wealthy, overly entitled, power hungry white folks are having an extremely hard time being told what to do by this black President. Obama has really shown them that he’s not a “play” president who will go along with the get along and they are FUMING!!

Isn’t John McCain & most of his constituents millionaires or better, in some cases? & doesn’t he along with every other Politician enjoy the benefit of having government insurance already? Therefore, how can he even begin to relate to the average person on “mainstreet”. Instead of his constant attempt to retain his supporters monetary contributions & a chance at re-election, he & his contemporaries should be considering what’s in the best interest of EVERYONE.

I wonder if President Obama was President Clinton, would he be facing the same amount of this outright disrespect & opposition that Obama is dealing with? I think not. The Republicans were shouting from the mountain tops that the Obama administration hadn’t done anything during his term, as recently as a month ago. But, now that he has been able to accomplish a huge piece of legislation, they still have the nerve to complain? Really?

They should allow the President this opportunity to see how this is going to work for everyone. I truly believe that he is trying to implement positive changes that will be in everyone’s best interest. This isn’t a one-sided attempt to further his own personal agenda to receive capital gain & re-election, which is what the Republican Party is notoriously known for. Give Obama a break & let the man do his job.

“Isn’t John McCain & most of his constituents millionaires or better, in some cases?” … no further reading necessary, this shows the depth of your intelligence.

Have you ever heard of a rhetorical question? (Don’t worry about answering that.) My point was that it’s a known fact that the man is at least a millionaire. So, how can he relate to the 32 million people who do not have health insurance.

zookeeper 03/25/2010 at 10:50 AM

Guess what genius, Obama falls in that same category along with MOST politicians that hold Senate and higher positions… go relearn about your own gov’t please instead of rattling off bullshit.

jcrucial09 03/25/2010 at 11:02 AM

HNIC should have made it clearer for your dumbass. These millionaires have ALWAYS been privelidged and have never worked with poor people, so how can they relate to regular, hard working people. Obama got to where he is the hard way.
If you don’t see the point, then you never will so don’t bother respond with your conservative republican bullshit.

HNIC 03/25/2010 at 11:10 AM

I never said that Obama wasn’t in the category of being a millionaire. Although, one (of many) huge difference(s) between Obama & McCain is that Obama actually cares about the average American. The aforementioned 32 million people who have suffered due to the lack of health insurance for decades. Hence, the need for & the reasoning behind the recent Health Care Bill.

From my vantage point, McCain is doing a lot of posturing as if he cares, solely because his constituents & supporters are holding him accountable to do so & also because he’s up for possible re-election in Arizona, this November. The Republican Party couldn’t care less about the average person. Their Party is an Elitist group whose primary concern is their own personal gain & that of their colleagues. If you don’t fall in with the good ol’ boys, then you are nothing but a liability or a faceless number, at best.

Why do you think that the Independent Party is the fastest growing group in this nation? They, too, feel disenfranchised by the Republican Party.

zookeeper 03/25/2010 at 12:57 PM

Obama got there the hard way? What kind of shit are you morons smoking?

“Obama actually cares about the average American” … where did you get this BULLSHIT from? Because he’s half black? Or maybe because someone on TV said that? Baseless statements have no swaying power. A big problem I have with most Democrats is that they are living in a fairytale world and have difficulty dealing with FACTS. Connecting dots seems to be too complicated for you all. You’re they same people that will say that Clinton was a great president, but have no idea that he and your fellow dumbass Democrats pushed thru legislation that fucked us all hard. But you’re still oblivious. Where is the money going to come from to pay for all this shit? Answer that. You motherfuckers complain about taxes taken from your checks but then go and support things that will take even more…idiots. Elitist? Hard for you to think otherwise when theres people that think Dems are stupid, but no need to make up an example when people like jcrucial09 open their mouths thinking they are saying something intelligent. Exactly how many “regular, hard working people” do you know that have been put thru 7 years of private college prep school? Or maybe you know alot of people that live in 2 million dollar homes . I say again, go do your research and stop being a mindless pawn.

That’s wonderful, you gained your view of “Republicans” from the media.. How about that time in the past when you were (supposedly) taught about political parties.

Ok a piece of healthcare legislation has been proposed. If it was so great, there would not be such an even split between those who voted for it and those who voted against. ***** NOTE: 34 DEMOCRATS VOTED AGAINST THE BILL. ***** Yes we need to do something about healthcare. I have experienced the result of not having health care access and the negative effects it brings. However trying to ram through the first thing that comes to mind is definitely NOT the way. Especially not at a time like this where most ACTUAL common people are suffering.

At the end of the day, you’re still morons because either ignore or are just completely clueless about common sense and/or cause & effect.

@ zookeeper – What does Obama being half-black have to do with this issue? I find it interesting that you bring that fact up. Hmmm… African-American’s only make up a little more than12% of this country’s population. So, Obama didn’t pass this bill solely with them, including myself, on his mind. He did this for the greater good of ALL Americans, regardless of race.

And yes, in my opinion, Clinton was a great President. Aside from the Lewinsky scandal, which is between him, his wife & God, I think that he did a wonderful job during his Presidency. We weren’t in a financial crisis as a country, we weren’t fighting any bullshit wars & most people were employed & prosperous during his terms. This, as we all know, went to hell in a hand basket, once Bush stepped foot in office. Those are all of the things that we’re still feeling the effects from to this day, thanks to Bush.

Obama wasn’t brought up with a silver spoon in his mouth. He had no inheritance. He gained everything that he now has thru his own hardwork, determination & perseverance. He is the epitome of the American Dream, if there ever was one.

I would also venture to say that you too receive much of your information & ideologies from the media… Fox News perhaps? So, what’s your point?

Reply

zookeeper 03/25/2010 at 5:26 PM

he had no inheritance? wtf does that have to do with anything. Now if you said he lived in poor home went to public school got a scholarship thru college etc maybe then you would have a point BUT THAT ISN’T THE CASE. Like I asked, how many run of the mill, “common” people do you know with their kids in prep schools. Stay on topic, sheep! Of course in your opinion he was a great president, because you assign credit where it is not due. The same way you say that Bush (as bad as he was) was responsible for the country having an economic downturn. Lol you’re really clueless to what is actually going on. Sigh, it’s like talking to a rock. When you actually go look into these things and whats underneath the fluffy stories on the TV, then I won’t have to respond to you. Get to work.

Watch and enjoy shitforbrains.

And no, Fox News isn’t a factor… I listen to whatever and then go look for what actually happened. Not take what shows up on the idiot box for face value like SOME PEOPLE.

By the way, our Country has spent a Trillion dollars each year on wars, since they began. Guess who’s paying for that. We, as taxpayers in this country are, that’s who. If we can afford to do that, then surely we can afford to pay for health care that will benefit us all.

Zookeeper: You should practice what you preach! You say people here are making “Baseless statements have no swaying power” and you follow with a tirade of baseless statements have no swaying power! Please know one thing as you discuss this very divisive legislation. The republicans added 200, yes 200, amendments to the health care bill. Please feel free to check this fact by googling “health care amendments.” Maybe you should also do some “connecting of the dots.”

Reply

zookeeper 03/25/2010 at 5:03 PM

amendments to make sure it wouldnt pass… aren’t you the smart one.

Reply

zookeeper 03/25/2010 at 5:15 PM

furthermore they added 200 amendments and you morons still tried to railroad it through thought it was obviously unacceptable. What about those 34 Dems that voted against it? I don’t see any response to that. Dummies like you don’t even know the vote, don’t try to come in here on some “you too” bs. I don’t even see what your point was in bringing up amendments. Try again, and what I do know about this legislation is that you don’t know shit about it. Really weak attempt :( . I hope this isn’t the type of effort you put in at work. Learn to address the topics.

The last time I checked, 219 is a greater number than 34… or even the 212 total who opposed the Bill. Regardless of how slim the margin was, they accomplished the task. It still was a victorious achievement. That’s the point that you seem to be missing here, zookeeper. At this point, you’re really just grasping for straws.
