Watch what you drop at your local Walgreens, you just may wind up under investigation for your questionable behavior!! According to a news report out of Utah:
Prosecutors have dropped sexual abuse charges against a St. George couple after determining pictures of the father kissing his naked infant son were scenes of affection, not abuse. But the undocumented immigrant couple may yet be deported and their U.S.-born son is still in state custody.
The father, 34-year-old Sergio Diaz-Palomino, was arrested March 9 after a photo-processing employee at the St. George Walgreens called police to report seeing two allegedly questionable images of him kissing the baby. The sequence of several photos shows a smiling father posing with the boy, according to a motion to dismiss filed Friday in 5th District Court. They show him affectionately holding the baby, kissing his head, forehead and ear. Two of the photos show the father kissing the son’s buttocks and genitals.

did you read the last line? 2 of the photos showed the man kissing his sons genitals and buttocks… thats def questionable. i would’ve paused, i would’ve showed my bosses and allowed them to decide. in a world where deaf kids went on being abused for decades by a catholic priest, we as adults need to speak, shout, fight for our children. sometimes there will be false alarms but i rather false alarms than have any child be abused by any sick individual.

I have a two year old son – my mini-me and I love lil dude beyond all life and reason. I kiss lil dude all the time – on his big head, on his ears – on his cheek. I even give him raspberries on his belly. I have NEVER EVER EVER even thought of kissing his buttocks or genitals.
At the minimum, that’s very odd behavior, right? At the worst, that’s straight up abuse. Without context that looks clearly like sexual behavior.
I think the employee did the right thing in this instance – better to be safe than sorry.

The ones you need to watch out for are right in your own family or circle of friends and where there are no pictures to prove anything. And since when do people send their pictures to Walgreens ? Don’t people print out their own pictures at home with their digital picture printers ? This only happens in the US which is so backwards compared to the rest of the world.

I don’t find anything wrong with kissing a babies bottom, babies have cute little tushes, if a mother was to do it, it wouldn’t be seen as wrong. There’s a Johnson babies add over in the UK with mothers kissing their babies bottom, and it’s innocent, certainly not offensive. I don’t see why it would be to anyone else.
I do however, draw the line at kissing your babies genitals, it’s unusual and rather suspect. I wonder if it’s a cultural thing?? it would be good to know this guys cultural background…

Yeah, that is NOT acceptable behavior. Kissing his genitals (as small as they may be) raises a red flag with me. Any other kiss is cool as long as your tongue is in your mouth.
But in retrospect, there are some ppl who get off with a kiss from any part of a child’s body.

I think this guy’s culture should be considered. It’s entirely possible he didn’t mean anything sexual in intent and we Americans are just paranoid about these things. Of course, if someone we’re to kiss their baby’s genitals, the last thing they would do is go public with it. Common sense would have said that it should never been allowed on camera! Just my opinion.
