Lauryn Hill made a rare appearance in New York City last night for the Tanzania Education Trust New York gala at the Plaza Athenee. Now if we could only get some new music from Ms. Hill – we’d be good!

She looks good. Hasn’t aged one bit. She is a mother and role model to her children. She also has high self esteem and doesn’t have to be half naked to feel validated. Besides that she stated herself in Unplugged that she isn’t in the habit of getting dressed to please everyone. People are too used to seeing women dressed as prostitues running around and are mistaking that for beauty.
my kids will know this woman’s name and will be able to recite her lyrics. i don’t care if she came out in a paper bag she would still be gorgeous because of her intellect.
