If you didn’t expect to see exactly what you saw, aside from the quick stun Floyd got in the 2nd round, then you either don’t know much about boxing or you’re in denial.
Love it or hate it, he’s just the best of our generation. He’s now passed Roy Jones Jr. in his prime, as far as best/most talented. That argument is dead now.
I just hope they don’t leave all that Pacquiao/Mayweather money on the table for a 2nd straight time. The time IS NOW!!!!!!!!

Anyways the fight was great, awesome showing of the art of boxing. Even the surprises where Floyd who is an expert at the shoulder roll get hit by those crosses. The undercards were entertaining aswell PPV’s are steep but it was worth it.
Remember people this is boxing, not a fight, if you want a fight go watch UFC.

i agree with you. the casual fan however wants to see knockouts and isn’t a student of the sport to accurately appreciate technical boxing.
coupled with the fact that judges routinely cheat and fix fights – and it’s not hard to see why boxing is struggling.
in the long run boxing is gonna lose out to MMA anyway – mma is way more entertaining and way more barbaric – which is right up the casual fan’s alley.

FLoyd Mayweather did exactly what i knew he would in this fight. He is the Greatest boxer in 2 decades, maybe of all time. his defense coupled with speed and ACURACY backs this statement up. his ring genius makes it easy for him to adjust to any boxer. he mastered the sport so much that he doesnt even watch his apponents previous fights to learn the boxer. the reason for this is because his apponents have been DEFEATED. he however has never been defeated and never tasted the canvas. People who do not know boxing thinks pacman will be the GREAT PHILLIPINO HOPE that will knock mayweather off his pedistol. but this wont be the case. pacquiaou has been defeated on a number of occasions, he has become a better boxer with knock out power but he is speratic and not disciplined enough. he will go in there expecting a brawl intimidated by Mayweather which will make him fight Mayweathers fight. in other words, Same outcome!!!!!
well like we all pre….dicted….& for the ones who had not….mayweather & the holy ghost….the winner of the bout….a difficult first few rounds against ….The Colored Dice…. & Before Muhamed Ali they called his blood & guts routine loubitine….The Irish pride….Other than that his shots were very clean & precise….Commanding the majority of the fight ….a real champ for today
