I think “king” should be removed from his name. He got to get his mind right, i agree. They were the best team in the NBA this year with the league MVP and looked like they did not care.
He is great, but i think he is more concerned with Fame than winning, hence the first thing he said in the post-game conference was that he is all about winning. He is trying to convince himself.

kobe won last year with two all-star seven footers – a 6’10″ nigga who can play every position on the floor effectively – plus is lefty (odom), a crafty veteran 3 point threat (fisher), and a superathlete who doesn’t need the ball and can lock down defend on three positions (ariza). No other team had a combination of these things. Plus Kobe.
in fact kevin garnett was a superstar with no rings. his skills declined – he came to boston and became a good team player – and won a ring.
