We thought Ridley Scott’s new Robin Hood movie starring Russell Crowe would be a sure win with critics, but apparently not. Despite bad reviews and being deemed a 2010 Gladiator – the movie still brought in $37 Million dollars in the US and $75 Million dollars overseas opening weekend.
Did you LIFERS see the movie???

The film was not as bad as some reviews make it out to be. It completed its job in my eyes; to entertain. When you expect too much from a film, one tends to exit the theater feeling severely disappointed. I saw an advanced screening a month ago and left pleased overall. I did however have a complaint with the ending battle sequence.
I had to take my son to this movie because the movies changed we were going to go see Losers, well this is how it turned out, His best friend fell asleep during the movie, and my son could not sit still kept getting up and leaving, the audience was full of bored people. I even had a hard time keeping interested, Its just Gladiator in Nottingham woods okay. VERY BORING FILM
Anybody who compares this to Gladiator just isn’t paying attention at all . Gladiator was a revenge story, this movie was an origin story, the character motivations are completely different. If this movie had stared anybody else no one would even bring up Gladiator.
I left the theater before it was over, and I am the biggest Robin Hood fan!!! How about the fact he only shot like 3 arrows during the whole movie… he spent more time with that sword than he did with a bow and arrow!!!
