You can’t shame those who may not be knowledgeable to a certain brand. What happened before you purchased your first pair? You didn’t know of it then until someone or something pointed you in the correct direction, no? A lot of people get their information about fashion, who are not synchronized with the fashion world, via entertainment outlets (music videos, hip-hop magazines, blogs, etc). Versace for example was known only to the elite but when Notorious B.I.G. mentioned the brand in his song and wore the items in his videos, guess what? A brand once exclusive to the unacknowledged was soon known to the “underclassmen.”
