Do you agree???

While you think about the answer to that… check out the Radio Rip of “Unforgettable” from Drake’s Thank Me Later album feat. Young Jeezy.

i still dont get it why this guy keep exposed. sometimes his music is good, sometimes it just make me crazy with his stupid “lilwayne” accent. He’s GOOD, but NOT that good. of all the hiphop newcomers, KIDCUDI still doin it best. this is just my two cent.

I agree….. he is WAY OVERRATED!!!!!!!!!!!

I think he is partly getting all this attention because he is light skinned. Half Jew / half Black.

I don’t know about Kid Cudi deserving more… it should be Lupa Fisaco!

Kid Cudi is half Mexican-Native American and black

Yea, he’s the new face of Hip Hop, but that doesn’t mean that Hip Hop is in a good place. Hip Hop has been on the downturn for years, and he’s no sign of making it any better.

If you’re still waiting for Hip Hop to be as good as it was many years ago, let it go.

Just give me new music from OutKast/Andre 3000, Nas, Devin the Dude and Cee-Lo.

he didnt have a choice! Lil wayne gave him crazy exposure. weezy has been featuring him on so many songs and introducing him to everyone; co-signing him. drake owes so much to lil wayne, no matter how talented he is as an artist. besides, do u think baby would allow drake to get away without paying his dues? baby is gonna make a pretty penny off this shit. drake needs some real niggas around him so he don’t get bullied lol

I like Drake and his music, but I do not consider him a hip hop artist….all his hottest joints hit me with more R&B.

Yea Drake is the new face of the evolving hip hop. There’s still enough room for the classic hiphop artist but right now the rap & rnb fusion thing seems to be what’s hot. And I personally prefer Drake & his many talents over the thousands and thousands of immature, gangsta, hustling, & pimpin rappers who jus sound & look stupid 4 no reason.

Overhyped, sorta like a watered down version of Weezy, Wayne’s sound has rubbed off on him quite a bit.

See what hype can do for u?

I’d rather a J Cole album over a Drake album anyday.
Before young money he was pretty good, now with the over exposure his head is just getting blown up.

For better or for worse I guess he is the new face of Hip Hop. Like Obama he’s half white, so that makes him at least half alright in their eyes. It’s alright I guess, I think he represents Hip Hop well, although he’s not totally Hip Hop in the traditional sense but at least he seems intelligent and isn’t making us all look like idiots. He’s clean cut and honest to himself and fans, unlike Wayne who between rapping his jibberish and all them face tattoos makes us look crazy and Rick Ross lies too much.

I personally feel that Kanye is still who best represents Hip Hop as a whole right now. Kanye is the rapper/producer everybody from Jay Z to Drake is looking to work with. Kanye is intelligent at times, ignorant at times, speaks his mind and doesn’t give a f*** what people say, he’s fashionable, etc. Kanye is the full package.
