The most pathetic thing about this is, is that the whole image here has nothing to do with what real New York is all about. It’s a cartoon. I mean think about it. The HBO version opens with SJP prancing around mid-town in a tutu!?! In the real world, she’d at the very least have everyone laughing out loud at her for wearing something as ridiculous as that on the street, or likely as not she’d get her ass kicked on principal. I pray to the gods of Papaya Kings and Blarney Stones to let this reeking pile of pseudo-feminist dog vomit die so that we no longer have to suffer the waves of starry eyed girls from Idaho and Broadway bound dancer boys from Minnesota, who arrive daily and spin around in the middle of Union Square while tossing their hats in the air ala` Mary Tyler Moore, with images of Manolos, Cosmos ad Maybachs dancing in their heads. Gimme back my got damnd city!
