This season is going to be a tough one, so to get in shape we headed out to the Bay area and took part in a 2 day training seminar and product exhibition put on by Nike.
On day one we competed at the 2010 Oakland Combine which was held at Laney College and each year is attended by top high school athletes from around the country – these are the future stars! At the seminar we took part in SPARQ training with some help from Darrelle Revis the New York Jets Corner Back who was the runner up for NFL defensive player of the year in 2009, and Tim Tebow the Denver Broncos Quarterback who has a Heisman on his shelf and is one of the most talked about players in the league today. After we got warmed up, on day two we headed out to the hills of San Francisco to meet up with Hall Of Famer Jerry Rice and take part in one of his much talked about hill runs before we got some words of wisdom from a legend that you can take with you off the field….
